  15.           The  Artisoft AE-3  Ethernet  adapter  supports  three  kinds  of
  16.           Ethernet cabling --  thin, thick, and  twisted-pair.  Start  your
  17.           network with the inexpensive twisted-pair cable found prewired in
  18.           newer office  buildings.    When your network expands  beyond the
  19.           cable's 100-meter  capability, you don't buy new  adapters.  Just
  20.           connect thin coax or thick Ethernet cable to your AE-3 cards.

  22.           Suitable for use  with any Ethernet  system including  Artisoft's
  23.           LANtastic  network,  the AE-3  adapter  is as easy to install and
  24.           set up as the LANtastic system itself.  The adapter is compatible
  25.           with   Novell  NE2000   cards  but offers more  features such  as
  26.           providing additional IRQ  (interrupt request) lines  so  it won't
  27.           conflict with other expansion equipment.

  30.           Artisoft NetBIOS standard and  a  user s manual  written in plain
  31.           English.

  35.           System.  It makes file and equipment sharing easy by enabling any
  36.           workstation on the  network to also be  a server.  In  a diskless

  38.           across the network with Artisoft's programmable PEROM chips.  And
  39.           in an office  where portables need to connect to the  network and
  40.           sudden  expansion  needs   are  common,  the  Central     Station
  41.           connectivity platform is an open port to an Ethernet system.
